Notes Pre-wedding BBQ - 5/29/2010If you’ll be in Seattle the weekend before the wedding, we’re planning a little get-together BBQ at our house so everyone who is staying for more than just the event can mix and mingle. If you plan on being there, let us know (comment here or throw us an email at dorks at chewybean dot com) and if you’re extra rad you can bring something to eat (or not eat… house warming gifts are cool too).
Just to add to GB’s original post: We will take care of the meat (hamburgers & hot dogs), plates, napkins, cups, etc. and would greatly appreciate it if guests could bring a side dish, chips & dip, sodas (2ltrs), desserts and whathaveyou. For those out-of-towners, we have a grocery store just up the road about a mile and I hear they have great potato salad :) (if you would like to chip in some $$ instead, that would be greatly appreciated as well, we can then pick up foodstuffs not covered)
Also, the BBQ will take place rain-or-shine since we have a lot of covered driveway as well as house space.
As for a time, come on by whenever you feel like it, we should be getting started around 4pm and food would probably be ready 5:30-6pm.
